Central Zone finish third following draw

Central Zone manage to draw the game against East Zone at Rajshahi in the Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) to finish third.

Abu Jayed Rahi bagged three wickets for 41 runs in the Central Zone second innings but Marshall Ayub struck a 75-ball 85 while Shuvagata Hom managed 64 from 53 deliveries.  Central reached 194 for the loss of five wickets as Irfan Sukkur and Saif Hassan batted out the remaining overs without further loss of wickets.

Earlier, East Zone declared their first innings at 711 for the loss of eight wickets as Mohammad Saifuddin struck an unbeaten ton with eleven fours.
