The Bangladesh Under-17 team leveled the three-match one-day series against their Afghanistan counterparts with a seven-wicket win in the second game at the Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground in India yesterday.

Afghanistan were in all sorts of trouble after electing to bat and were bundled out for just 121 runs after 44.2 overs. Left-arm seamer Mrittunjoy Chowdhury and left-arm spinner Mehedi Hasan took three wickets each while Mohammad Tahsin bagged two wickets with his off spin for the bowling side.

After the exchange, Bangladesh cantered home in 33 overs, losing three wickets. Opener Prantik Nawroz top-scored with 37, while player-of-the-match Tahsin added 34 runs.

The final match will be played tomorrow.
