Ayub strikes ton as Central Zone post big total
Marshall Ayub struck a fantastic ton as Central Zone posted 529 runs on the board all-out against North Zone at Bogra in the Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) today.
Marshall continued from his overnight score of 20 to strike a 210-ball 132 before he fell with the score on 433. Left-hander Mosharraf Hossain remained unbeaten on a 131-ball 83 to take the score past 500 mark. Ariful Haque scalped four wickets for 79 runs. North Zone countered one over from Abu Hider before end of play on Day 2.
In the other match at Sylhet, South Zone were bowled out for 403 as East Zone's Khaled Ahmed bagged four wickets for 84 runs. East Zone batted out 33 overs but lost three wickets as they reached 95 at stumps on Day 2. Liton Das remained unbeaten on 60 from 104 deliveries with seven fours.
