Emma Watson 'terrified' of singing for film

"Harry Potter" fame actress Emma Watson says she is "terrified" about singing for the first time onscreen in her upcoming film "Beauty and the Beast".

The 24-year-old, who will play the role of Belle in the film -- which will star Dan Stevens as The Beast and Luke Evans as Gaston -- told Total Film magazine that singing was an unexpected challenge for her, reports eonline.com.

I sing, so that's really unexpected. I've never had to do that for a film before, and I think people will be interested to see me do something very different like that, she said.

It gives me a different challenge, really. That's terrifying in and of itself, she added.
