Khaleda urges for ‘silent revolution’ in NCC polls

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia today called upon the dwellers of Narayanganj city to cast their votes in favour of her party-backed candidate in a protest to the government’s misdeed and mismanagement.

“I hope, you (Narayanganj city dwellers) will go for a silent revolution in polling on December 22,” Khaleda Zia made the call in a press statement this evening.

The former prime minister also asked leaders and activists of the BNP-led 20-party alliance to play their courageous role actively to make the party-backed candidate Shakhawat Hossain victorious.

Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) election is very important to establish democracy and bring back peace in the country, she said.
