Oust-govt movement if NCC polls not fair: Moudud

BNP standing committee member Moudud Ahmed today threatened to wage a movement to oust the government if the Narayanganj City Corporation election is not held in free, fair and impartial manner.

“Narayanganj City Corporation election is a test for the government and the election commission. We will enforce oust-government movement if the election is not held in a fair manner,” Moudud said while addressing a programme in the city this afternoon.

He was carrying out electioneering in favour of BNP-backed mayoral candidate Shakhawat Hossain Khan ahead of the poll scheduled for December 22.
