‘Snow White’, ‘War of the Worlds’ lead 46th Razzie nominations

The Golden Raspberry Awards have announced the nominations for their 46th edition, with the live-action Snow White and Ice Cube’s “War of the Worlds” emerging as the most-nominated titles, earning six nods apiece.

Often dubbed Hollywood’s anti-Oscars, the Razzies honour what voters consider the weakest films and performances of the year. Alongside the two frontrunners, “The Electric State”, “Hurry Up Tomorrow” and “Star Trek: Section 31” have also been nominated for worst picture.

In the worst actor category, The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) received a nomination for portraying a fictionalised version of himself in “Hurry Up Tomorrow”, which picked up five nominations overall. He will compete with Dave Bautista (In the Lost Lands), Ice Cube (War of the Worlds), Scott Eastwood (Alarum), and Jared Leto (Tron: Ares).

The worst actress race includes Ariana DeBose (Love Hurts), Milla Jovovich (In the Lost Lands), Natalie Portman (Fountain of Youth), Rebel Wilson (Bride Hard), and Michelle Yeoh (Star Trek: Section 31).

One of the most talked-about categories, worst screen combo, features an eclectic mix of nominees, including the seven dwarfs from “Snow White”; James Corden and Rihanna in “Smurfs” (2025); Ice Cube and his Zoom camera in “War of the Worlds”; Robert De Niro playing dual roles in “The Alto Nights”; and The Weeknd alongside what the Razzies cheekily termed “his colossal ego” in “Hurry Up Tomorrow”.

The winners of the 46th Golden Raspberry Awards will be announced on March 14.
