6 more die of dengue, 2,089 hospitalised in 24 hours

At least six dengue patients died, and 2,089 others were hospitalised in the 24 hours until 8:00am today, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Of the deaths, three were reported in Khulna division, two in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), and one in Mymensingh division.

With the latest deaths and cases, the number of dengue deaths has risen to 262 and the total number of cases to 86,458.

Currently, 5,849 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at hospitals across the country.
