New DCs appointed in Natore, Gaibandha and Rangpur

The government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) and district magistrates in Natore, Gaibandha, and Rangpur.

The public administration ministry issued separate orders in this regard on Wednesday night.

According to the notification, Mosammat Sumoni Akter, deputy secretary to the Posts and Telecommunications Division, has been appointed as Natore DC; Dr Md Moniruzzaman, private secretary to the LGRD minister, has been appointed as Gaibandha DC; and Israt Jahan, deputy secretary to the home ministry, has been appointed Rangpur DC.

Earlier on Tuesday, the government recalled Natore DC Asma Shaheen, Gaibandha DC Mohammad Masudur Rahman, and Rangpur DC Mohammad Ruhul Amin and attached them to the public administration ministry for subsequent postings.
