BNP appoints new officials to Tarique Rahman’s security team

BNP has appointed three new officials to the security team of its acting chairman, Tarique Rahman.

According to a press release signed by Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Major (retd) Mohammad Shafawat Ullah has been named Security Director, Major (retd) Moinul Hossain as Protocol Director, and Captain (retd) Md Ghani Ul Azam as Coordination Director.

The announcement was made on Tuesday, with the party confirming the appointments as part of its organisational restructuring.
