BGB recovers 5kg meth in Ukhiya

Border Guard Bangladesh recovered about 5-kg crystal meth, also known as ice, worth about Tk 25 crore from the district's Ukhiya upazila early yesterday.

The haul was found after a gunfight happened early yesterday between BGB and the suspected traffickers near Bangladesh-Myanmar border. But no one was arrested, BGB officers said.
