Fire breaks out at Gazipur dyeing factory

A fire broke out at a dyeing and yarn factory in Gazipur's Tongi around noon today.

Ershad Hossain, a duty officer at Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence, told The Daily Star that three firefighting units were trying to douse the blaze which broke out around 12:30pm at the factory in Pagar area.

No causalities have been reported so far.
