Routes to Shaheed Minar for tomorrow announced
Dhaka Metropolitan Police yesterday at a press conference announced special traffic routes for travel to Central Shaheed Minar and Azimpur graveyard to observe the International Mother Language Day peacefully tomorrow. Those who want to reach the Shaheed Minar from Azimpur graveyard should go towards Azimpur road and then through Palashi crossing to Jagannath Hall. People from Bakshi Bazar, Chawkbazar, and roads -- Urdu, Dhakeshwari, Nazim Uddin and Babupura can reach the Shaheed Minar using old railway hospital road, Palashi Crossing and Jagannath Hall. Those from Abdul Goni Road, Topkhana Road and Shaheed Captain Mansur Ali Park Avenue can reach the Shaheed Minar using roads in front of the High Court, Doyel Chattar, Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, TSC intersection, Nilkhet Police Camp, Palashi Crossing and Jagannath Hall. Students of Rokeya Hall and Shamsunnahar Hall can go through Nilkhet Police Camp, Palashi Crossing and Jagannath Hall. Those from Nazim Uddin Road, Babupura Road, and College Road can reach Azimpur graveyard through Dewan Bazar Road, Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, TSC intersection, Nilkhet Road, New Market Crossing, Pilkhana Road and New Market no-1 gate. Those from Abdul Goni road, Topkhana road and Shaheed Captain Mansur Ali Park Avenue can go to the graveyard with roads in front of the High Court, Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, TSC intersection, New Market Crossing and Pilkhana Road. Those from Lalbagh, Chawkbazar areas can use Azimpur Road, New Market Crossing, Pilkhana Road, New Market no-1 gate and the graveyard's new gate. Engineering University and Dhaka Medical College students can use Doyel Chattar, Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, Nilkhet, New Market Crossing, New Market no-1 gate and the graveyard's new gate.
