Party men held with arms
Police arrested two leaders of Jubo Dal and Jubo League along with a pistol and two magazines in Betgari area of Shajahanpur upazila on Monday night.
The arrestees are Hossain Ali, 36, joint secretary of town unit Jubo Dal and Abdur Rouf, 37, president of ward no13 unit Jubo League of the municipality.
Mahamudul Alam, officer in-charge at Shajahanpur police station, said acting on a tip-off, they raided the flat of one Hazi Khokon and arrested them along with the firearm and magazines .
