Six houses gutted
Six houses were gutted in a fire at Sultanpur village under Sadar upazila yesterday. The fire originated from the kitchen of one physically challenged Shahjalal's house at about 12:30pm and soon engulfed the adjoining houses. On information, firefighters from Natore fire station rushed to the spot and doused the flame. The affected house owners claimed that the loss caused by the fire could go up to Tk 5 lakh.
