'Media needed for development'
The media can play an instrumental role in promoting growth, social justice and good governance in the country, said speakers at a workshop yesterday.
Addressing the workshop, “How to Create Media that Entertains and Inspiresâ€, award winning producer Nancy Botkin said Bangladeshi people have really good stories and all they need is a tool that will enable them to tell those inspiring stories.
The workshop was organised by the High Commission of Canada in Dhaka and CanCham in the capital's DCCI Auditorium.
