Schoolteacher found dead
A schoolteacher was found dead at his house at Munshipara in the town on Sunday evening.
The dead, Mohammad Ali, 55, was an assistant teacher of Chilarang Dangipara Government Primary School under Sadar upazila.
Ali was alone at the house as his wife Shamsunnahar and their two children went to a relative's house in the town at around 4:30pm.
Shamsunnahar said when they returned at 7:00pm, they found the door of their house closed from inside.
"We entered the house by breaking open the door and found Ali's body hanging from ceiling fan,” she said.
