11 arrested for vandalising rivals' houses
Eleven people were arrested early yesterday on charges of vandalising houses of their rivals at Ichhamoti village in Sirajganj Sadar Police on Saturday.
Abu Sayeed Khan group attacked the house of the supporters of Asad Khan and Monju Khan of the village as a sequel to previous enmity and looted money, gold ornaments and 20 cattle.
Following a case filed by Asad and Monju with Sadar police Station against 20 people of Abu Sayeed group, police arrested 11 of the accused from the village at around 3:00am.
The arrestees are Najir Uddin, Abdul Mannan, Sultan Sheikh, Anisr Rahman, Rafiqul Islam, Abdul Momin, Moslim Uddin, Abdul Rashid, Jahurul Islam, Mujibur Sheikh and Anwar Hossain.
