Bogra BNP announces eight-day agitation
Bogra district unit of BNP yesterday announced an eight-day agitation programme in the district from October 11 protesting filing of a 'false' case by Sonali Bank against party's senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman and his younger brother Arafat Rahman Koko.
District BNP President Saiful announced the programme at a press conference held at the district unit office at noon
The programme includes rallies, processions at the upazila headquarters, distribution of leaflets, mass contact and a protest meeting in the town.
Saiful said though Tarique and Koko are not the owners of Dandy Dying Company, Sonali Bank filed a 'false' case against them. He demanded immediate withdrawal of the case.
