Two commit 'suicide'
A woman and a madrasa girl allegedly committed suicide in Sadullapur and Sunderganj upazilas yesterday and the day before. Munni Akhter, 13, a class seven student at Madhapara Dakhil Madrasa in Sadullapur took pesticide yesterday. She was rushed to the upazila health complex where the doctors declared her dead. The reason behind the suicide could not be known immediately, said family sources. Feroja Begum, 42, of Bekatari village in Sunderganj, killed herself by taking poison following an altercation between her and her husband over a piece of disputed land on Tuesday midnight, said family members.
