Current nets, hilsa seized
Members of Bangladesh Coastguard in an overnight seized at least 3, 20,000 metres of fishing net and 80kg of mother hilsa in the district yesterday. A team led by Lieutenant Jahirul Haque conducted a drive in the area and seized the nets and fishes. Later, the fishes were distributed among the orphan and poor people.
