BSF returns man's body
Body of a Bangladeshi national, found dead inside the Indian territory on Monday morning, was handed over to the family members yesterday.
The victim, Md Hossain Ali, 40, was son of Lal Mia of Dharmajan village in Biral upazila, said Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) sources.
On Wednesday, Indian Border Security Force (BSF) returned the body following several flag meetings with BGB at Enayetpur border outpost.
People of Kumarpara village under Kusummandi police station of Dakkhin Dinajpur of Paschimbanga said they found Ali's body in a field, about 1.5km off Enayetpur camp of the upazila and informed police.
The victim was last seen at Kaliaganj Bazar on Sunday evening and since then he remained missing, said family sources.
