Lightning kills one
A man was killed by lightning at Ranibari village under Shibganj upazila of the district on Saturday evening. The deceased was identified as Kariful Islam, 40, son of Nawashad Ali of the village. Locals said Kariful was struck by lightning in front of his house at around 7:00pm. He died on the way to a clinic at Kansat.
