Gun, bullets seized
Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered one shutter gun and two bullets from a mango orchard at Shaympur village under Shibganj upazila on Saturday night. Acting on a tip-off, a BGB team of Masudpur border outpost (BOP) went to the village at around 8:00pm and found the gun and bullets at the orchard. Later, BGB men handed over the gun and bullets to Shibganj Police Station and filed a general diary in this regard. On Monday last, the BGB men seized two foreign made pistols, nine bullets, three magazines from Parchouka village in the upazila and arrested an arms peddler named Shah Alam.
