Girl commits 'suicide'
A teenage girl allegedly committed suicide at Nayalavanga village in Shibganj upazila yesterday morning. The deceased was identified as Yasmin Khatun, 15, daughter of Anarul Islam of the village. Quoting locals, SI Jahangir Hossain of Shibganj police station said, Yasmin committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of her room at around 8.00am. The reason behind the suicide could not be known immediately.
