Boy drowns in pond
A two-year old boy drowned in a pond in Boyra Bazar area of Sharishabari upazila on Tuesday evening. The deceased was identified as Siyam, son of Mizanur Rahman of the area. Locals and family sources said, the victim was playing near the pond in the evening. All of a sudden, he fell in the pond and drowned. The body of the boy was recovered from the pond at around 9.30pm.
