One of the two Indian nationals, who escaped from a court hajat at Dharmapasha upazila headquarters in Sunamganj district on Tuesday, was arrested in Mohanganj upazila of Netrakona yesterday evening.
According to Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Bayes Alam of Dharmapasha Police Station, law enforcers arrested the Indian, Haresh Marack, 28, again from Durgapur village of Mohanganj upazila at around 6:00pm. The other escapee, Karak Marack, 30, is still at large, the OC added.

He said the on-duty police men will face departmental action for negligence of duty.
Haresh Marack, 28 and Karak Marack, accused in a smuggling case, were brought to Dharmapasha from Sunamganj district jail on Monday night to produce in the Judicial Magistrate's Court.
They were produced in the court on Tuesday and later kept at the court hajat. When police went to the hajat at around 7:00pm to take the accused back to the district jail, they found the two had fled away by breaking the lock of hajat.
