<i>Just for a mobile set!</i>
Two people died after inhaling toxic gas inside a septic tank at Goalgram village in Daulatpur upazila of the district yesterday morning.
The dead were identified as Nasir Uddin, 38, son of Mozir Uddin and Hafizul Islam, 28, son of Phulchand of the village. Both were cousins.
The two met their tragic end around 10:00am when they entered an underground septic tank at their house to find a mobile set that fell in it, said Lutfar Rahman, officer in-charge of Gajaria police station.
Owner the mobile set Nasir got into the tank first. Getting no response from Nasir, Hafizul entered the tank and met the same fate, the OC said.
Later, locals recovered their bodies from the tank.
