Tiger kills fisherman
A fisherman was killed by tiger at Joymonir canal in the west of Sunderbans yesterday morning. The victim was identified as Nazrul Islam, 35, son of Kawser Gazi of Bhagba village in Koyra upazila. A tiger attacked Nazrul when he was fishing in the canal at around 8:00am. On information, forest guards recovered the body from the spot, said Md Ibrahim, station officer of Baniakhali forest.
