Boy drowns in pond
A five-year-old boy drowned in a pond at Mohongonj Station Road of the municipal area under Mohongonj upazila yesterday morning. The deceased was identified as Ovi, son of Chandon Mia, of Station |Road area. Locals said that the boy was playing around his house around 9:00 in the morning. Somehow he fell in a pond beside his house and drowned as he didn't know how to swim.
