Four Dinajpur textile students held after case
Police arrested four students of Dinajpur Textile Institute on Monday on charge of vandalising principal's room and laboratory the day before.
The arrestees are Samidur Rahman of the fourth semester, and Abdul Hai, Zakir Hossain and Tamsur Rahman of the sixth semester.
In the afternoon, acting Principal Mohibul Islam filed a case with Dinajpur Police station, stating that the arrested students also prevented other students of the institute from appearing in their examinations Monday morning.
Students of Dinajpur Textile Institute went on the rampage on Sunday noon after the authorities did not allow seven of their fellow students to fill in their registration forms for appearing in the final examinations.
