'Missing' outlaw found dead

Police recovered the body of a member of an outlawed party at Urakanda in Sadar upazila of Rajbari yesterday afternoon. A top cadre of Biplobi Communist Party (BCP), Ohidul Islam Rajib went 'missing' on Sunday night. Abdul Wahab, father of the deceased, said Rajib went out of home at about 8:30pm and since did not return. His mobile phone was found off. Local people found Rajib's mutilated body in a roadside ditch of Urakanda bazar area at about 2:30pm and informed police. Officer in-charge (OC) of Rajbari Sadar police Sahab Uddin Khalifa told this correspondent that Rajib was accused in three cases, including one for murder. "Rivals might have killed Rajib over internal conflict," the OC said.
