Schoolboy found dead
Police yesterday recovered the body of a schoolboy from a pond at Pukuria village in Rajoir upazila of the district. Pradip Chandra Majumdar, 12, was son of Sushanto Majumdar of the village and a student of class six at Pukuria Chatushpalli High School. Nihar Ranjan Boiddya, acting chairman of Kadambari union said Pradip went missing since Saturday morning. Locals found his body floating in a pond adjacent to their poultry farm yesterday morning and informed the police. Pradip's family members alleged that the boy might have been killed by a neighbour over previous enmity.
