JMB militant arrested in C'nawabganj
Police arrested a member of banned Islamist outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Nejampur station area in Nachole upazila early yesterday.
The arrestee was identified as, Abdul Gofur, 55, son of late Mokbul Hossain of the area.
Acting on a tip off, a police team raided Gofur's house at around 12:30am at Nejampur village and arrested him, said Firoj Ahmed, officer-in-charge (OC) of Nachole police station.
