Jubo Dal, BNP men stabbed
Five Jubo Dal and BNP activists were stabbed in Mollika Degirpar area of Chatkhil upazila on Tuesday night.
Jubo Dal activists Mostafa, 25, Manu, 22, Milon, 18, Zahir, 25, and BNP man Md Khalil were admitted to the upazila health complex in critical condition.
According to Mostafa, a group of BCL activists, numbering 10-12 and led by Md Suman, suddenly attacked them with sharp weapons in the area at around 11:15pm.
The incident occurred when the five were going to their houses from Chatkhilbazar area, said Nazmul Hossain, officer in-charge of Chatkhil police station.
However, he could not identify the attackers.
