Woman's body recovered
Police recovered the body of a housewife from a pond at Shalghar village in Brahmanpara upazila yesterday morning. The deceased, Nazma Akhter, 25, mother of two, was wife of Shukur Mia, a Dubai expatriate of the village. Police said locals found Nazma's body floating in the pond in the morning and informed them. Yahiya, sub-inspector of Brahmanpara police station, said criminals might have strangled Nazma late at night and dumped the body in the pond.
