Man, son murdered
A man and his son were killed and three others injured in a clash over a piece of disputed land at Polashgora village in Durgapur upazila on Saturday morning. The deceased were identified as Billal Mia, 45, and his son Al-Amin, 22, of the village. Police and local sources said there had been a conflict between Billal and one Sekander Mia of the same village over the land for last few days. The supporters of the rivals attacked each other with lethal weapons, leaving the duo dead on the spot following an altercation over the issue at around 9:00am.
