Perfect Example

Casting aside their differences in political identity and rivalry, from left, Chittagong City Corporation Mayor M Manjur Alam, lawmaker Nurul Islam BSc, immediate past mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury and former commerce minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury set an example by sitting together at the inauguration of TV Journalists' Association Chittagong at Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh, Chittagong in the port city on Thursday night. Mentionable, Awami League leaders Mohiuddin and Nurul are rivals in times of elections and establishing political influence. Once close aides, BNP leader Manjur and Mohiuddin developed enmity over the CCC elections. Moreover, BNP Chittagong city unit President Khasru has political rivalry with Manjur and Nurul.
