Road crashes kill 2
Two people were killed in separate road accidents in the sadar upazila of the district yesterday.
The dead were Azizul Haq, 52, an employee of BRB Cables Ltd and Abdul Hakim, 42, a trucker.
Police said Azizul was killed when a truck hit him on Kushtia-Khulna highway in front of his office at about 8:30am.
In another accident, Hakim died instantly as another truck collided with his truck on the same highway at Alampur Bazar in the upazila at about 5:30am.
