7 Shibir activists held in Ctg
Police yesterday arrested seven Islami Chhatra Shibir activists from their procession in the port city.
The arrestees were Saiful Islam, 20, Yasin Arafat, 20 Obaidul Arafat, 18, Nazmul Hossain, 24, Abdul Karim, 32, Syed Ullah, 18, and Ikram Mahmud, 28.
Police said around 40-50 Shibir activists of the city unit brought out a procession near Kazir Dewri intersection as a part of their country-wide demonstration programme.
