JCD enforces strike at Sust
Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) activists enforced an indefinite strike at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust) yesterday morning demanding immediate arrest of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists who injured four JCD men.
All academic activities are suspended due to the strike.
Around thirty armed BCL activists attacked two JCD messes in Neharipara and Surma residential areas at around 11:40pm last Wednesday, sources said.
Shah Paran Hall JCD unit President Sharif Uddin and its organising secretary Sakibuzzaman Khan were among the injured.
