Rabindranath Tagore's birth celebration at RU today
Bangla department of Rajshahi University have chalked out a colourful programme to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore on the campus today.
The department will arrange a daylong programme, including colourful procession, discussion, seminar and cultural programme. The celebration will begin with hoisting flag and reciting the national's anthem.
Two seminars titled “Amarattyer Jala” and “Lokodorpone Rabindranath” will be held at the university Kazi Nazrul Islam auditorium at 10:30am and 4:00pm respectively.
