5 rescued while being trafficked
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members rescued five Bangladeshi people while being trafficked to India yesterday.
Joinal Abedin, camp commander of Putkhali 26 BGB, said on information, they launched a drive at Putkhali border and rescued two women and three men.
The rescued are Basana Rani, 16, Shanti Das, 16, Nirab Das, 21, Apurba Das, 22, and Kalyan Das, 19, of Jhikorgacha upazila in Jessore.
