Prof Aziz Khan passes away
Prof MA Aziz Khan, former vice-chancellor (VC) of Chittagong University (CU), passed away at Birdem Hospital in the capital due to old-age complications yesterday morning, says a press release.
He was 81.
He left behind two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
CU VC Prof Md Anwarul Azim Arif and Pro-VC Prof Mohammad Alauddin expressed deep shock at his death.
Prof Aziz served as CU VC from 1981 to 1985.
