19 Ctg Jubo League men injured in road crash
Twenty people, of whom 19 are activists of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League, were injured as a pick-up van overturned in the port city yesterday.
The injured were Mohammed Forkan, 26, the driver of the pick-up van, Abul Kalam, 25, Abdul Haque, 45, Mohammed Jashim, 24, Babul Akhter, 35, Badiul Alam, 28, Mohammed Mokter, 21, Mohammed Ismail, 24, Mohammed Nasir, 28, Raju, 16, Arafat, 17, Ripon, 28, Rubel, 23, Moahmmed Sohel, 22, Siraj Uddin, 27, Sahabuddin, 60, Rubel, 14, Jewel, 17, Salauddin, 45, and Mohammed Jalal, 30.
All were from Bakalia area in the city and are activists Bakalia unit.
The injured were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
The injured said they were going to join the grand rally of 14-party alliance at Pologruond, said Mohammed Jalal.
