Death of Ctg hawker protested
Leaders of Chittagong Newspaper Hawker League condoled the bereaved family of its member Md Shamsujjaman Mia who died in a road accident in the port city on Monday.
The leaders also organised a protest rally at its office in Hazari Lane on Monday demanding punishment to the driver of the covered van that killed Shamsujjaman, a hawker, while he was selling newspapers on the street.
The organisation's President Md Nazrul Islam Ripon chaired the rally while its General Secretary Jawharlal Devnath addressed.
