Case of SQ Chy's son dismissed
A Dhaka court yesterday dismissed a case accusing a jailer and a deputy jailer of Kashimpur Central Jail-2 of demanding Tk 3 lakh from the family of detained BNP leader Salauddin Quader Chowdhury.
Metropolitan Magistrate Mizanur Rahman rejected the case as incident took place in Gazipur district. He said the case should have been moved with a court in the respective district.
Hummam Quader Chowdhury in his complaint said the jailer and deputy jailer often demanded money from them whenever they go to meet their father at the jail.
