Boy killed in sun shade collapse
A 13-year old boy died when a building's sun shade collapsed on him in Kala Mia Bazar area of the port city yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammed Faisal alias Jewel, son of Shafiqul Islam.
Police said when Faisal was walking through the alley beside Azim Complex, an under-construction building adjacent to Raja Khali Bridge, the sun shade of the complex suddenly collapsed on him at around 2:00pm.
The boy died on the spot.
