Campaign to boycott Indian goods
Nagarik Parishad, a citizens' body, in Bogra yesterday started a campaign to boycott Indian goods protesting killing of Bangladeshis on the border by the Indian border guards.
The parishad held a rally in front of the local press club in the afternoon.
Chaired by Doctor Mushihur Rahman, convener of the parishad, human rights activists advocate Md. Sadrul Anam Ranju and Doctor CM Iddris addressed the rally, among other.
The speakers urged the local people not to buy Indian goods. Mushihur Rahman said they will launch the campaign in other districts soon.
