Two killed in road crashes
Two people, including a journalist, were killed and two others injured in separate road accidents in Gazipur and Sirajganj early Friday and yesterday.
UNB from Gazipur repots: A journalist was killed and his wife sustained injuries as a speeding BRTC bus dashed a motorbike carrying them on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway near the over bridge in the sadar upazila on Friday night.
The deceased is Haidar Ali, 35, a reporter of the weekly Crime Janata published from Uttara.
Our Sirajganj correspondent says: Motorcyclist Mohammad Tuhin, 28, son of Tajem Uddin, was killed instantly and his friend injured when a truck hit the bike on Sirajganj- Kazipur road at Paikortoli in Kazipur upazila yesterday.
Injured Alamin was undergoing treatment at Sirajganj General Hospital.
